"in may 1975, The New York Dolls broke up with their manager Malcom Mac Laren, and decided to split.
Though, David & Sylvain continued working together and were invited to play 10 dates in Japan, in August 1975.
For obvious reasons, the japanese promoters kept the name "New York Dolls" on the bill, though
Johnny Thunders, Arhur Kane and Jerry Nolan were not playing. Anyway the spirit of the Dolls was definitively there.
This is the recording of this legendary concert."
