Oct 2012 - Jan 2013 : Tav Falco – 50 Photographs: An Iconography of Chance at The Ogden Museum of Southern Art, New Orleans (through PhotoNOLA annual festival of photography)
Musician, filmmaker, performance artist, photographer and Southern provocateur Tav Falco presents 50 photographs: An Iconography of Chance. These black and white photographs—taken in the 1970s and early 1980s—provide a gothic travelogue through the Deep South. From the farmlands of rural Arkansas to downtown Memphis, the Mississippi Delta and all parts in between, Falco’s haunted images capture the fleeting vestiges of a bygone era found along the lost highways of the American South.

2011 : Tav Falco's book MONDO MEMPHIS: Splendor, Enigma, and Death issued by Creation Books in the UK.
Several readings done by Tav in France, UK and the US.

MONDO MEMPHIS is a dual, 450-page encyclopedic history and psychogeography of the city of Memphis, written by legendary performer Tav Falco and cultural critic Erik Morse. MONDO MEMPHIS is both an original history of the gothic South and an intertext of the urban legends, rural fables and literary clichés that have made the Bluff City simultaneously a metropolis of dreams and a necropolis of terrors. MONDO MEMPHIS is a major work on American history and culture.
